Daniel Brient was born in 1950 in Canada and now makes his home in Montreal.

By the end of his classical education in 1968, Daniel had made the decision to pursue his love of fine art and continued his studies in Los Angeles, California with his wife, artist-painter Hélène Béland.

In the early 1980's, Daniel and his wife Hélène established the Mission Renaissance School in Montreal.

Daniel currently pursues his passion for creating and teaching art.
